Want to know how? Read this.

I think all of us do know the feeling. At some or other time, we battle with our skin and it seems to get worse, no matter what we do.
Let’s look at acne first, to better understand what we need to do, to treat it properly. Acne is caused when tiny holes in the skin, known as hair follicles, become blocked. Sebaceous glands are tiny glands found near the surface of the skin. The sebaceous glands are attached to the hair follicles. An individual hair grows out of it. Sebaceous glands produce sebum, more commonly known as oil.

The skin can’t produce moisture; it can only produce sebum – to protect itself from harsh external factors. When our skin gets damaged, sebum forms a false acid mantle to protect the skin. We experience this as overly oily skin, which is not the case. It happens when the skins own acid mantle is disturbed or when the skin is extremely dry and dehydrated. The more problems on the skin, the more sebum it will produce.

In acne, the glands begin to produce too much sebum, usually because of hormonal factors or external damage to the skin. Teenage acne is thought to be triggered by increased levels of a hormone called testosterone, which occurs during puberty. The sebaceous glands are particularly sensitive to hormones. It is thought that increased levels of testosterone cause the glands to produce much more sebum than skin needs. If we treat the skin too harshly with the wrong ingredients, just to get rid of acne, we could actually make it worse. The excess sebum mixes with dead skin cells and both substances form a plug in the follicle.

Acne is also caused by the staphylococci bacteria – which grows in an alkaline medium. The perfect PH of the acid mantle must be between 4 & 5.75. This is acidic and makes it more difficult for acne to form. But if you wash your face with anti-bacterial soap for instance, you also destroy the good flora in your skin that’s supposed to protect you from bad bacteria, like staphylococci.

It is also thought that acne runs in families. If your parents had acne, it’s likely that you will have it too. In this case, there will also be acne breakouts on your de-collate area as well as your back.

Over 80% of cases of adult acne occur in women. It is thought that many cases of adult acne are caused by the changes in hormone levels that women have at certain times.

1. Periods – some women have a flare-up of acne just before their period is due.

2. Pregnancy – many women have symptoms of acne in pregnancy, usually during the first three months of their pregnancy.

3. Polycystic ovary syndrome – this poorly understood, but common, the condition can cause acne as well as weight gain and the formation of small cysts inside the ovary.

Despite being one of the most widespread skin conditions, acne is also one of the most poorly understood.

Skin Secret gets amazing results with skin that had years of acne. If you can get the skin to function normally, then the healing is fast and effective. It is a very simple but efficient way to get rid of those unwanted breakouts.

Skin Secrets focus is to:

  • Remove everything that could blog the pores.
  • Replace the acid mantle and bring back the first defense of the skin.
  • Normalize the PH levels of your skin.
  • Normalize the secretion of the sebum gland.
  • Use soft and safe methods to get the skin to function normally.

The results are amazing! Even the scarring under the skin is better after only 8 weeks.

These results were taken after only two months on Skin Secret. Look at the difference.

The blue photo shows what’s going on under the surface of your skin. The blue dots are all the acne blockages. If you see a difference there, then it will show on the surface as well. Look also at her pigmentation improvement.
